Lessons with Leah

"Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent."

         -Victor Hugo

Welcome Parents!

Learning to play the piano is such a rewarding experience. Students, even at a very young age, learn confidence, concentration and perseverance along with many other valuable attributes. Not only that, but they also develop a genuine love for music! It allows them to be expressive and channel their bounds of energy into something beautiful and fun as well as productive and fulfilling. Learning to play will be something they can cherish and grow in the rest of their lives. A true pianist never stops learning!

Young Children who take music lessons show different brain development and

improved memory over the course of a year, compared to children who do not receive

musical training. Musically trained children performed better in a memory test that is

correlated with general intelligence skills such as literacy, verbal memory, visiospatial

processing, mathematics, and IQ.
